About the Role
Working fully remotely, you’ll manage a diverse portfolio of business clients while providing high-quality accounting, taxation and advisory services.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Preparing BAS, IAS, financial statements and asset depreciation schedules
• Preparing tax returns for individuals, trusts, companies and partnerships
• Completing Division 7A loan reconciliation workpapers
• Managing GST and CGT reconciliations, including property and listed shares
• Working directly with clients across industries including medical, engineering, retail and manufacturing
• Providing accurate and timely business and taxation advice to clients of varying sizes
About You
• 4+ years’ experience within an Australian public practice accounting firm
• Strong exposure to Division 7A, GST, CGT, FBT, payroll, property and bookkeeping
• Experience working with business clients with turnover of approximately $4 million or more
• Experience using MYOB AE
• Strong communication skills and confidence dealing directly with clients
• A motivated, positive and professional approach
• Completed or currently undertaking your CA/CPA qualification
