About the job Lawyer and Compliance Officer - Remote
Note: This job does not offer any visa sponsorship and we are looking for candidates already living in Switzerland who can speak German and English fluently. Assist in the application and obtaining of an asset management license with FINMA.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and a variety of legal documents. Assist with the development and implementation of a regulatory and compliance program within the organization. Supervise, lead, manage, and optimize all compliance processes and procedures to ensure adherence to Swiss regulations and industry standards.
Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant Swiss laws and regulations. Monitor compliance with investment restrictions (internal and external). Ensure the provision of appropriate training and guidance for employees on compliance-related topics (regulatory).
Candidate requirements Swiss Law degree (Master of Law) and admission to the Swiss Bar. Proven experience and strong understanding of compliance and corporate law. Good knowledge of the crypto space and regulatory frameworks. Integrity, humility, intellectual curiosity, honesty, and direct communication. Fluent in German and English.
Interest or knowledge in legal AI tools. Legal experience in the crypto sector. In-depth knowledge of crypto legislation and ability to stay ahead of regulatory changes impacting the financial and crypto sectors
