About the Role
Our client is seeking an insightful Remote Agricultural Economist to analyze market trends, economic factors, and policy impacts on the agricultural sector. This role is entirely remote, allowing you to conduct sophisticated economic modeling and provide strategic advice from your home office. You will examine production costs, market prices, trade policies, and consumer behavior to forecast agricultural economic performance and inform decision-making for businesses and governmental bodies. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct economic research and analysis on agricultural markets, including supply, demand, and price forecasting.
- Evaluate the economic impacts of agricultural policies, trade agreements, and environmental regulations.
- Develop economic models to assess the profitability and financial viability of agricultural projects and enterprises.
- Analyze agricultural trade flows, tariffs, and subsidies, providing insights into global market dynamics.

Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience in economic analysis, research, and quantitative modeling, preferably in the agricultural sector.
- Proficiency with statistical software (e.g., STATA, EViews, R) and econometric techniques.
- Strong understanding of agricultural markets, international trade, and policy analysis.
- Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.
