Remote Catering Event Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous and proactive Remote Catering Event Coordinator to manage all planning and logistical aspects of catering events from a distance. This role is integral to ensuring seamless execution from the initial client consultation through to post-event follow-up. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, coordinating menus, budgets, timelines, and supplier arrangements, all while working remotely. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a deep understanding of catering operations to effectively serve clients in the Port Elizabeth area and contribute to the overall success of our client's catering services without needing to be physically present at every event.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end planning and coordination of catering events, ensuring all details align with client requirements.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing regular updates throughout the planning process.
• Develop detailed event proposals, including menus, pricing, and service logistics.
• Coordinate with kitchen teams, service staff, and external vendors to ensure smooth event execution.
• Oversee event budgets, track expenses, and manage supplier payments.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and gather client feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements
