Remote Electrical Design Engineer

Our client is looking for a talented and self-motivated Remote Electrical Design Engineer to join their distributed engineering team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute to cutting-edge electrical system designs from anywhere. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing electrical schematics, control systems, and layouts for a diverse range of products and applications. Working independently and collaborating virtually with international teams, you will play a key role in bringing innovative solutions to life, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who excels in a remote work setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs for various projects.
• Specify electrical components, sensors, actuators, and control systems, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
• Conduct electrical system analysis, including load calculations, circuit protection, and signal integrity analysis.
• Prepare comprehensive design documentation, technical specifications, and bill of materials for manufacturing and procurement.
• Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing teams through virtual communication tools.
• Provide technical support for prototype development, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical design and system engineering.
• Proficiency in industry-standard electrical CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCAD).
• Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics, power electronics, and embedded systems.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively in a remote environment .
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective virtual collaboration.
