Key Responsibilities Grant Research • Conduct in-depth research to identify federal, state, foundation, and corporate grant opportunities. • Monitor RFPs, grant alerts, and industry updates through trusted platforms and funding databases. • Assess grant prospects for alignment with strategic direction and programmatic focus.

Proposal Development and Submission • Write tailored, persuasive proposals conveying mission relevance and measurable outcomes. • Align each submission with funder guidelines, including deliverables, objectives, and performance metrics. • Prepare essential documentation such as budgets, logic models, and letters of endorsement for complete applications.

Stakeholder Communication and Relationship Building • Coordinate with internal staff to collect program data, stories, and results for funding narratives. • Serve as a liaison with funders to clarify expectations and maintain strong, collaborative relationships. • Deliver strategic updates to leadership on grant performance and funding opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related discipline. • 3+ years in a grant writing, resource development, or institutional fundraising capacity. • Experience with Foundation Directory Online, Candid, or similar prospecting tools. • Understanding of budgeting, program evaluation, and measurable outcomes.
