About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Engineer with a specialization in Systems Design to join their fully remote team. You will be responsible for the architectural design and integration of complex mechanical systems, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and scalability requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and document complex mechanical systems, subsystems, and components for various applications.
• Conduct trade studies, feasibility analyses, and performance modeling to select optimal design solutions.
• Develop and manage system requirements, ensuring traceability throughout the design process.
• Collaborate remotely with project managers, hardware engineers, and software teams to ensure successful system integration and validation.
• Utilize advanced simulation tools for performance analysis, including thermal, structural, and kinematic simulations.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide clear, concise status updates to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical systems design and integration.
• Demonstrated expertise in complex system architecture, component selection, and performance validation.
• Proficiency with simulation and modeling tools such as MATLAB/Simulink , ANSYS, or COMSOL.
• Strong understanding of control systems, mechatronics, and reliability engineering principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a remote , collaborative environment.
