About the Role Our client is seeking a highly skilled Remote Network Infrastructure Specialist to join their globally distributed team. You will be responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of our network systems, working entirely from your home office.

Key Responsibilities • Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex issues proactively to ensure high availability and minimal downtime. • Implement and manage network security measures, including intrusion detection and prevention systems. • Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute network upgrades and expansions. • Stay current with emerging network technologies and recommend solutions for improvement.

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in network infrastructure design, implementation, and management. • In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VLANs, and network security principles. • Experience with cloud networking platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable. • Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work autonomously. • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are strongly preferred.
