About the Role Our client is actively seeking a meticulous and dedicated Remote Quality Control Technician to join their distributed team, supporting operations from Cape Town .

You will be responsible for evaluating product quality against established specifications, identifying deviations, and collaborating with on-site production teams to ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.

Key Responsibilities • Conduct remote inspections and analyses of manufactured components and finished goods against established quality standards and specifications. • Document inspection results meticulously, flagging any non-conformities or deviations from quality parameters. • Collaborate effectively with on-site manufacturing teams and engineers to communicate quality issues and facilitate the implementation of corrective and preventive actions. • Maintain detailed records of quality control activities, test results, and product compliance documentation using digital tools. • Contribute to the development and refinement of quality control procedures and testing protocols. • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to quality assurance in the manufacturing sector.

Requirements • Proven experience in a Quality Control or similar role within the manufacturing industry . • Demonstrated ability to perform detailed inspections and interpret technical specifications and drawings. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. • Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills, with proficiency in digital collaboration tools. • Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is highly desirable. • A technical qualification in a relevant field is preferred, coupled with hands-on experience.
