About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Remote Reservoir Simulation Analyst to contribute to their exploration and production activities within the Oil & Gas industry . This role involves developing, running, and analyzing complex reservoir simulation models to predict reservoir performance and optimize recovery strategies. You will work entirely from a remote location, collaborating with geoscientists and engineers across various time zones. Key Responsibilities

• Build, calibrate, and execute dynamic reservoir simulation models using industry-standard software.
• Analyze simulation results to understand fluid flow, predict production performance, and evaluate development scenarios.
• Integrate geological, geophysical, and engineering data into simulation models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Perform sensitivity analyses and uncertainty assessments to quantify risks and support decision‑making.
• Prepare detailed reports and visualizations of simulation results for technical and management audiences.
• Collaborate closely with reservoir engineers, geologists, and production engineers to define model objectives and interpret results.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Computational Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in reservoir simulation, with a strong focus on analytical and numerical modeling.
• Proficiency with leading reservoir simulation software packages (e.g., ECLIPSE, INTERSECT, CMG).
• Strong understanding of reservoir engineering principles, fluid properties, and geology.
• Excellent data analysis, programming (e.g., Python, VBA), and visualization skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote, international team environment.
