Remote Senior UX/UI Designer

About the Role

Our client is a rapidly growing digital innovation studio looking for a talented and experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join their fully remote team. This role is crucial in shaping intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing digital products for a global clientele. You will be responsible for the entire user experience and interface design process, from user research and wireframing to prototyping and final visual design. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to gather insights into user needs and behaviors.
• Develop user personas, journey maps, wireframes, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts.
• Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring consistency and adherence to design systems.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and design solutions.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and analytics data.
• Create and maintain detailed design documentation, style guides, and design systems.
• Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders and clients effectively.
• Stay current with the latest UX/UI trends, design tools, and best practices in the industry.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and standards.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Proven track record as a UX/UI Designer with at least 5 years of experience, demonstrating expertise in both user experience and user interface design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital design projects, particularly for web and mobile applications.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability heuristics, and interaction design best practices.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for typography, color, layout, and iconography.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate with remote teams across different time zones.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus.
• Familiarity with front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is beneficial.
