Remote Sourcing Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive global sourcing strategies for assigned product categories.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers worldwide, ensuring alignment with company standards and objectives.
• Lead complex negotiations with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and long-term agreements.
• Manage and nurture relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and driving performance improvements.
• Conduct thorough market intelligence and risk assessments to ensure supply chain stability and identify opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, engineering, and product management teams to ensure sourcing strategies support product development roadmaps.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing, value engineering, and process improvements.
• Oversee the contract management process, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.
• Develop and implement supplier performance management programs.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior sourcing team members, if applicable.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with a significant portion in global sourcing.
• Proven track record of successfully leading complex sourcing projects and negotiations on a global scale.
• Deep understanding of electronics component sourcing, manufacturing processes, and international supply chains.
• Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in sourcing software, ERP systems, and advanced analytical tools.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Experience working with suppliers in Asia and other global regions is essential.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
