Our client is seeking an expert Remote BIM Architect to drive the implementation and utilization of Building Information Modeling across their projects, with a focus on standards relevant to regions including Nelspruit . This role is crucial for enhancing design coordination, efficiency, and data management throughout the project lifecycle. You will work with a distributed team of professionals, establishing best practices for BIM workflows, templates, and libraries. If you are a technically adept architect passionate about leveraging BIM to its full potential in a remote setting, this is an ideal opportunity to shape digital workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and workflows for architectural projects.
- Create and manage project-specific BIM models, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Coordinate with architectural, engineering, and construction teams using BIM platforms for clash detection and design review.
- Train and support project teams on BIM software and best practices.
- Explore and implement new technologies and techniques to optimize BIM utilization. Contribute to the development of BIM content libraries and templates.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master of Architecture degree.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in architecture, with at least 4 years focused on BIM implementation and management.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and a strong understanding of other BIM-related software and platforms.
- Experience in developing and enforcing BIM standards and execution plans.
- Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to effectively manage a remote team.
- Familiarity with various project delivery methods and their integration with BIM.
