We are searching for an exceptional Remote Technical Team Lead to join our client's dynamic software development startup.

Our client is a prominent multi-asset liquidity and technology white-label solutions provider for brokerages and exchanges, and with a well-funded operation and a team of over 100 employees, they are revolutionizing the industry.

Responsibilities As the Technical Team Lead (Android/Kotlin), you will be responsible for leading an enterprise team of software engineers and developing mobile applications on the Android platform.

Your key responsibilities will include: • Managing and guiding the software engineers within your team. • Overseeing day-to-day activities and ensuring efficient progress. • Conducting performance reviews and performing code cross-reviews for software engineers. • Providing technical validation of system requirements. • Interviewing potential software engineer candidates. • Overseeing and controlling various stages of development and testing, including manual, automatic, load, chaos, and regression testing. • Continuously improving CI/CD practices, tech radar, technological stacks, protocols, and services within the stream. • Ensuring the stability of upcoming releases and the overall system stability. • Facilitating the onboarding and offboarding of software engineers. • Coordinating with the CTO on system design and product architecture. • Providing regular reports to the CTO on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. • Collaborating with the DevOps and Security departments to synchronize efforts.

Qualifications • Previous management experience overseeing teams of 4-10 people. • Minimum of 3 years experience in a technology leadership role. • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, mobile application architecture, and database design. • Excellent understanding of API integration with the backend of the core system. • Proficiency in Kotlin, unit testing, and automated testing. • Experience with Firebase, Docker, CI/CD, and automated development tools for security screening, chaos engineering, and semantic release. • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
