In this critical cloud architecture and automation role, you will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting end-to-end OCI environments, virtual cloud networks, and automated provisioning pipelines. You will leverage your deep expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to drive scalable cloud migrations, enterprise container deployments, and high-performance infrastructure reliability. Detailed Job Description:

As a Senior OCI Engineer at Aventus Global, you will take full technical ownership of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure architecture, cloud automation frameworks, and infrastructure reliability across multi-environment setups. Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs), subnets, routing tables, and advanced gateways (IGW, NAT, Service Gateway, DRG), configuring network load balancers (NLB/ALB) within compartments, and writing modular Terraform IaC scripts with robust state management and drift handling. You will implement automated CI/CD deployment pipelines using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins, containerize workloads via Docker, and execute OCI migrations, software patching, and complex infrastructure troubleshooting. Furthermore, you will debug deep networking, routing, and performance bottlenecks across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, architect, optimize, and troubleshoot end-to-end Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) enterprise environments.
• Configure and manage OCI networking components including VCNs, subnets, routing tables, security lists, internet gateways (IGW), NAT gateways, Service Gateways, and Dynamic Routing Gateways (DRG).
• Implement and administer network load balancers (NLB/ALB), compartment security structures, and multi-environment setups.
• Build, scale, and maintain modular Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, handling state management, drift detection, imports, and lifecycle blocks.
• Configure, optimize, and maintain automated CI/CD deployment pipelines using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
• Containerize applications and manage container deployment workflows using Docker and Kubernetes orchestration (OKE).
• Execute seamless OCI cloud migrations, infrastructure patching, system upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
• Perform rigorous debugging and root-cause analysis for complex networking, routing, load balancing, and infrastructure bottlenecks.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of 12+ years of relevant professional experience in software engineering, cloud architecture, and infrastructure automation.
• Strong, demonstrable hands‑on expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) architecture, core services, and resource management.
• Deep practical proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules, state management, and drift handling.
• Proven experience configuring OCI networking architectures (VCNs, subnets, routing, gateways, NLB/ALB).
• Strong practical experience implementing CI/CD deployment pipelines using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
• Solid containerization and deployment workflow experience utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exceptional troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills for resolving complex networking and infrastructure bottlenecks.
• Mandatory eligibility to work on a remote contract basis within the UAE timezone.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Professional cloud certifications such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Architect Professional or DevOps Professional.
• Experience with advanced OCI services such as OKE (Oracle Container Engine for Kubernetes), Autonomous Database, and OCI Identity and Access Management.
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation scripting in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Prior consulting experience delivering large-scale enterprise cloud migrations for telecommunications or financial services clients in the Middle East.
• Strong technical documentation and runbook authoring capabilities.
