THE ROLE

As a Senior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality tax and accounting services, while mentoring junior team members and building strong client relationships. This is ideal for a technically strong public practice professional who enjoys both client-facing work and team leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and review complex individual, company, partnership, and trust tax returns
  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards
  • Ensure compliance with Australian tax laws and regulatory requirements
  • Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation and accounting standardsIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Manage workflow for the team
  • Assist with the provision of business advisory and coaching services

ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in Australian public practice
  • Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax legislation and financial reporting standards
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines across multiple client portfolios
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capability
  • High level of professionalism and integrity
