• Conduct full-stack performance audits covering client rendering, APIs, and databases.
• Profile and eliminate slow database queries, missing indexes, and N+1 query patterns.
• Optimize frontend script payloads, asset delivery, and critical rendering paths.
• Implement caching layers using Redis, HTTP cache headers, and edge CDNs.
• Establish automated performance monitoring and alerting in CI deployment gates.
• Mentor developers on writing performant code across frontend and backend layers.

Requirements

• Possess 5+ years of software development experience with performance specialization.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of full-stack web architectures with TypeScript, React, and Node.
• Show extensive experience profiling SQL queries, execution plans, and connection pools.
• Master performance profiling tools including Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse, and APMs.
• Understand network protocols, HTTP/2, edge caching, and server concurrency.
• Communicate empirical benchmark comparisons effectively to engineering and client teams.
