About the Role

Our client seeks an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to join their organization in a fully remote capacity . This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing complex procurement projects and driving significant cost savings. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of strategic sourcing initiatives for key categories of spend, identifying opportunities for consolidation and efficiency.
• Conduct complex negotiations with national and international suppliers, securing favorable contract terms, pricing, and service level agreements.
• Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle for high-value purchases, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and value maximization.
• Mentor and guide junior procurement staff, fostering best practices and professional development within the remote team.
• Analyze market intelligence and internal spend data to identify strategic sourcing opportunities and support long-term planning.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in procurement and strategic sourcing , with a significant portion managed remotely.
• Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation, supplier relationship management, and risk assessment.
• Advanced proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required; an MBA or advanced certification is a plus.
