This role involves designing a professional logo for a new political party in the United Kingdom focused on electoral reform and direct democracy. The party’s structure has been developed by a process analyst, and initial draft concepts for the logo are available to guide the creative process. The successful freelancer will be responsible for transforming these drafts into a polished, versatile logo that effectively communicates the party’s mission and values. The final deliverables will be used across digital and print platforms, including social media, so attention to scalability and clarity is essential.

Deliverables

• Refine and develop a professional logo based on provided drafts and party values
• Deliver a complete set of vector files (AI, EPS, SVG) suitable for print and digital use
• Provide a package of images optimized for social media platforms (profile, banner, and post formats)
• Ensure the logo is adaptable for various applications, including merchandise and campaign materials
• Collaborate to incorporate feedback and revisions as needed

Requirements

• Proven experience in logo design, preferably for political, non-profit, or advocacy organizations
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in vector illustration and branding
• Proficiency with industry-standard design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
• Ability to interpret and enhance draft concepts into a cohesive visual identity
• Excellent communication skills and responsiveness to feedback
• Understanding of UK political context and sensitivity to the values of electoral reform and direct democracy
• Availability to deliver final assets within agreed timelines
