About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and analytical Mine Geologist specializing in data analysis and reporting, to join their team in a fully remote capacity. This position is key to interpreting geological data from exploration and mine operations, ensuring accurate resource modeling and reporting. You will work independently from your home office, collaborating with geologists and engineers across various projects, providing critical insights through robust data management and clear reporting. This role offers a significant opportunity for a geologist who excels at remote collaboration and possesses a strong aptitude for quantitative analysis and technical communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and manage geological data from drilling, sampling, and mine production.
• Perform detailed geological analysis, including structural interpretation and mineralization mapping.
• Develop and maintain geological databases and ensure data integrity.
• Prepare comprehensive geological reports, cross-sections, and plans for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate remotely with exploration and mine geology teams to integrate data and interpretations.
• Contribute to resource estimation processes and assist with geological modeling software.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Geology or Earth Sciences.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mine Geologist, with a strong focus on data management and reporting.
• Proficiency with geological software packages (e.g., Leapfrog, ArcGIS, ioGAS).
• Experience with database management and data analysis tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to produce high-quality technical reports.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote setting.
