About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Procurement Analyst to join their remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting procurement data to support strategic decision-making and identify cost‑saving opportunities. You will work closely with the procurement team and other departments to ensure efficient purchasing processes and compliance with policies. This position requires a strong aptitude for numbers, excellent reporting skills, and the ability to work effectively independently within a virtual environment, contributing vital insights to optimize our client's supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze procurement data, including spend, supplier performance, and market trends.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on procurement activities and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement within the procurement cycle.
• Support the negotiation process by providing relevant data and market insights.
• Assist in maintaining the supplier database and ensuring data accuracy.
• Monitor contract compliance and identify potential risks or deviations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Procurement Analyst or in a similar data analysis role within procurement.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
• Excellent reporting and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex data clearly.
• Experience with procurement systems and ERP software is advantageous.
