About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain robust compliance policies, procedures, and controls.

• Perform internal audits and investigations to identify and address compliance issues and potential risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a compliance role within the banking, financial services, or a highly regulated industry.
• Comprehensive knowledge of South African financial regulations, AML/KYC requirements, and corporate governance principles.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing compliance programs.
• Excellent analytical, research, and reporting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective remote collaboration and stakeholder management.
