About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Remote Systems Administrator to manage and maintain their IT infrastructure from anywhere. Key Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and maintain server infrastructure (physical and virtual) ensuring high availability and performance.

• Implement and enforce security policies, conduct regular security audits, and respond to security incidents.
• Deploy, configure, and manage cloud-based services and applications.
• Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for end-users and system issues.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar IT infrastructure role, with a strong emphasis on remote management.
• In-depth knowledge of server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux), networking protocols, and virtualization technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
