About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote HR Generalist to support their distributed workforce. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within South Africa while contributing significantly to the HR function. You will be instrumental in managing the employee lifecycle, ensuring consistent HR practices, and fostering a positive company culture across all locations. This role requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to thrive in a virtual environment, supporting employees and management alike. Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for remote and on-site positions, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience.
• Administer and support HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistent application across the organization.
• Handle employee relations matters, providing guidance and support to employees and managers remotely.
• Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes for all new and departing employees.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs, including benefits enrollment and queries.
• Support performance management initiatives, working with managers to ensure effective employee development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as an HR Generalist , preferably with remote team experience.
• Strong knowledge of South African labor law and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to manage HR functions in a virtual or distributed environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in HRIS and collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Microsoft Teams).
