About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Remote Aviation Safety Inspector to join their expanding compliance team, operating entirely remotely. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct remote audits and reviews of aviation safety management systems (SMS) and operational procedures.
• Analyze incident reports, accident investigations, and safety data to identify trends and potential hazards.
• Develop detailed reports outlining findings, risks, and actionable recommendations for corrective measures.
• Liaise with aviation operators and regulatory bodies to discuss compliance requirements and audit outcomes.
• Stay updated on evolving aviation safety regulations, standards, and best practices globally.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of internal safety audit protocols and tools.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Aviation Safety Officer, Inspector, or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of aviation safety regulations (e.g., ICAO, EASA, FAA, SA-CAA) and Safety Management Systems (SMS).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex technical documentation and safety data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports.
• Proficiency in using standard office software and virtual collaboration tools.
• A relevant degree or certification in aviation management, safety, or a related field is highly desirable.
