About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Remote Wind Turbine Technician Supervisor to oversee their operations remotely, supporting teams working at wind farms near Mahikeng . This role requires strong leadership abilities, technical expertise in wind turbine maintenance, and the capacity to manage a team effectively from a distance. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of wind turbines by providing remote guidance, coordinating maintenance schedules, and troubleshooting issues. Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote supervision, technical guidance, and support to wind turbine technician teams.
• Oversee the planning and execution of routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on wind turbines.
• Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies.
• Monitor turbine performance using remote monitoring systems and identify potential issues.
• Coordinate with site managers and logistics teams for parts, equipment, and personnel deployment.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to technician teams to foster continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Wind Turbine Technician with at least 5 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• In-depth knowledge of wind turbine mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and best practices in wind energy operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively and manage a team remotely.
• Relevant certifications in wind turbine technology and safety (e.g., GWO).
