About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer to join their innovative and distributed team. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of intricate mechanical systems, ensuring seamless integration of components.
• Perform advanced simulations and analyses, including thermal management, structural integrity, and dynamic behavior.
• Develop comprehensive system specifications, architecture designs, and interface control documents.
• Collaborate with remote hardware, software, and electrical engineering teams to achieve optimal system performance.
• Oversee prototype builds, testing, and validation of complex mechanical systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in remote engineering discussions.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical systems engineering, with a strong focus on complex product development.
• Expertise in CAD software and advanced simulation/analysis tools (FEA, CFD, Multiphysics).
• In-depth knowledge of system dynamics, control systems, and thermal management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a remote collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
