About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead Cybersecurity Analyst to join their fully remote security operations center. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for leading threat detection, analysis, and response efforts, as well as mentoring junior analysts. You will work on advanced security challenges, leveraging threat intelligence and cutting-edge tools to protect the organization's critical assets. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis of complex security threats and incidents, providing expert guidance on containment and eradication.
• Develop and refine threat hunting methodologies and security monitoring strategies.
• Mentor and guide junior cybersecurity analysts, fostering their technical and analytical development.
• Oversee the effective use and tuning of security tools, including SIEM, SOAR, and EDR platforms.
• Collaborate with other security teams and stakeholders to improve overall security posture.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of incident response playbooks and procedures.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis, incident response, or threat intelligence.
• Demonstrated experience in leading technical teams or projects within cybersecurity.
• Expertise in threat analysis, malware analysis, and incident handling methodologies.
• Advanced proficiency with SIEM, EDR, and other security monitoring tools.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage effectively in a remote setting.
