About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and skilled Remote Commercial Accountant to support their growing business operations connected to Richards Bay . In this fully remote role, you will be instrumental in analyzing commercial performance, managing budgets, and providing crucial financial insights to guide business decisions. You will work closely with sales, operations, and management teams to understand financial drivers and contribute to profitability enhancement. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze commercial performance, profitability, and sales trends, providing actionable insights.
• Prepare detailed budgets and forecasts in collaboration with various business units.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on deviations and trends.
• Support pricing strategies and evaluate the financial impact of commercial initiatives.
• Manage cost control initiatives and identify areas for efficiency improvements.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and reports as requested by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial or business analysis roles, ideally within a remote setup.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros) and experience with financial modeling.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and business intelligence tools.
• Strong commercial understanding, excellent analytical skills, and effective communication for remote collaboration.
