About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Insurance Risk Analyst to join their expanding team, operating in a fully remote capacity. This role is crucial for identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks across the organization's insurance portfolio. You will play a key part in developing risk management strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and safeguarding the company's financial stability. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute significantly to risk management frameworks from a remote setting, influencing key decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive analyses of insurance risks, including market, credit, operational, and underwriting risks. Develop and implement sophisticated risk models and methodologies to quantify potential exposures. Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and prepare detailed risk reports for senior management and regulatory bodies. Collaborate with various departments to embed risk management principles into business processes and decision-making. Contribute to the development and refinement of the company's overall risk management framework . Stay abreast of emerging risks, industry best practices, and regulatory changes affecting the insurance sector.

Requirements

Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in risk analysis, preferably within the insurance industry. Proven expertise in statistical modeling, data analysis, and risk management software. Strong understanding of insurance operations , products, and regulatory requirements (e.g., Solvency II, IFRS 17). Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex risk concepts clearly.
