About the Role

Our client, a rapidly growing supply chain solutions provider, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Logistics Coordinator to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of the logistics process, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
• Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
• Negotiate with transportation providers to secure favorable rates and service agreements.
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively address any delays or issues.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and logistics costs.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure seamless operations.
• Analyze logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
• Provide clear and concise communication to all stakeholders regarding shipment status and potential disruptions.
• Onboard and mentor junior logistics team members remotely.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator, Supply Chain Manager, or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of logistics principles, transportation management systems (TMS), and warehouse operations.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in managing international shipments is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing market conditions and operational needs.
• A dedicated home office setup with reliable high-speed internet is essential for this remote position.
