About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Remote Data Analyst to join their innovative team, supporting mineral resource management efforts from anywhere. This role is crucial for transforming raw geological and mining data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. You will work closely with geologists, engineers, and management to analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and develop reports that enhance resource evaluation and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and process large volumes of geological and mining operational data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Geoscience, Mining Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst, with a strong focus on data manipulation and visualization.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python or R for data analysis, and experience with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Familiarity with mineral resource estimation or mining operations data is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.
