About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Remote Aircraft Performance Analyst to join their innovative team. In this fully remote role, you will be instrumental in optimizing aircraft performance through in-depth data analysis, contributing to fuel efficiency, operational cost reduction, and enhanced flight safety. You will work independently, leveraging advanced software and statistical methods to interpret flight data and provide actionable insights. This is a unique opportunity for a self-motivated professional to make a significant impact on global flight operations from the comfort of their own home office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze flight data recorders (FDR) and other performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement methodologies for calculating and optimizing aircraft performance parameters, including fuel burn and flight path.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations detailing performance analysis findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate virtually with airline operations teams and flight planning departments to implement performance enhancements.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in aircraft performance analysis and related technologies.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the analysis process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Proven experience as an Aircraft Performance Analyst or in a similar data-intensive role within aviation.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft systems, aerodynamics, and performance principles.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Python, R, Excel, SQL).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
