About the Role

Our client, a prominent international mining group , is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its financial operations entirely from a remote position. This executive role will oversee all financial aspects of the company, including financial planning, risk management, reporting, and investor relations. The CFO will play a crucial part in shaping the company's financial strategy, ensuring robust financial health, and driving sustainable growth across its diverse mining assets. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's long-term financial strategy to support growth and profitability targets.

• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, treasury, tax, and financial planning and analysis (FP&A).

• Manage relationships with investors, lenders, and other financial stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, reporting standards, and corporate governance requirements.

• Lead risk management efforts, identifying and mitigating financial and operational risks across the group.

• Provide strategic financial advice to the Board of Directors and executive management team.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or MBA strongly preferred.

• 15+ years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles, preferably within the mining or natural resources industry.

• Proven track record in financial strategy development, capital allocation, and managing complex international financial operations.

• Extensive experience with financial modeling, forecasting, M&A, and capital markets.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

• Demonstrated ability to manage a global finance function effectively in a remote work environment.
