About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a highly experienced and visionary Lead Electrical Design Engineer for a completely remote role. This position is critical for driving the design and development of innovative electrical systems and products. You will lead a team of engineers, provide technical direction, and ensure the successful execution of complex design projects from concept through production, all within a distributed work environment. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end electrical design process, including conceptualization, detailed design, and validation for new products and systems.
• Mentor and guide a team of electrical engineers, setting technical standards and fostering a culture of excellence.
• Oversee the selection of components, design of schematics, and layout of PCBs for complex electronic systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, firmware) to ensure integrated product development.
• Conduct rigorous design reviews, analysis, and testing to ensure product performance, reliability, and safety.
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in electrical hardware design and product development.
• Extensive experience with analog and digital circuit design , power management, and signal integrity.
• Expertise in using EDA tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence, or Eagle for schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Strong knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and system-level integration.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and remote collaboration skills.
