About the Role

Our client is looking for a creative and skilled Remote Sports Content Creator to produce engaging and compelling content for their digital platforms, serving the Sandton community and beyond. In this fully remote role, you will conceptualize, produce, and edit a variety of content, including videos, articles, social media posts, and graphics, all centered around sports. You will work closely with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with brand voice and strategic objectives. This position is ideal for a storyteller with a passion for sports and a knack for creating captivating narratives across multiple digital formats, thriving in an independent, remote work setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality written, visual, and video content for websites, social media, blogs, and promotional materials.
• Conceptualize and develop creative content ideas that align with marketing campaigns and brand messaging.
• Edit photos, videos, and other multimedia assets to produce polished, professional content.
• Manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery of all creative assets.
• Analyze content performance metrics and use insights to optimize future content creation.
• Stay informed about current trends in sports and digital content creation to keep content fresh and relevant.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a content creator, videographer, writer, or graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing sports-related work.
• Proficiency in content creation tools, including video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices for content engagement.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• A genuine passion for sports and understanding of various sports disciplines.
