About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Remote Industrial Equipment Technician to join their expanding virtual support team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing remote diagnostics, troubleshooting, and technical support for a wide array of industrial machinery and systems. You will act as the first line of defense for on-site technicians and clients experiencing operational issues, utilizing advanced remote monitoring tools and your extensive knowledge base to resolve problems efficiently. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct remote diagnostic assessments of industrial equipment using specialized software and remote access tools.

• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base of all supported industrial equipment and their common failure modes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Industrial Equipment Technician or in a similar technical support role, preferably with a focus on remote assistance.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems common in industrial settings.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic software, remote monitoring tools, and technical documentation .
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly and concisely.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain productivity in a remote work environment.
• Relevant vocational training or certifications in industrial maintenance or a related field are highly advantageous.
