About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled BIM Specialist to join their remote team, supporting architectural projects across South Africa. This role is crucial for implementing and managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring data integrity and efficient collaboration among project stakeholders. You will be responsible for developing BIM standards, creating complex models, and providing technical support to design teams. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement BIM standards , workflows, and protocols for architectural projects.

• Create, manage, and maintain detailed BIM models using Revit and other relevant software.

• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of BIM data throughout project lifecycles.

• Provide technical support and training on BIM tools and processes to design teams.

• Collaborate with project teams to integrate BIM models with other disciplines (structural, MEP).

• Perform clash detection and resolution to identify and rectify design conflicts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience specializing in BIM implementation and management.

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.

• Strong understanding of BIM concepts, standards (e.g., ISO 19650), and best practices.

• Experience with other BIM-related software and platforms is a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
