About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly organized and experienced Remote Pharmaceutical Project Manager to drive key initiatives within their drug development pipeline. This role is entirely remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within South Africa. You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and successful completion of pharmaceutical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to scope. This includes managing cross-functional teams, stakeholder communication, and risk mitigation. Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end execution of pharmaceutical projects, from initiation to closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
• Lead and motivate virtual, cross-functional project teams (e.g., R&D, regulatory, manufacturing).
• Facilitate effective communication among project team members and stakeholders.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues proactively.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (e.g., Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry) or Business Administration.
• PMP certification is highly desirable.
• 5+ years of proven experience in project management within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex drug development or R&D projects.
• Experience with project management software and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, particularly in a remote work environment.
