About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and innovative Remote Cloud Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage their network infrastructure within leading cloud platforms. This fully remote position offers the chance to work on complex, high-impact projects that drive the scalability and reliability of our client's telecommunications services. You will be responsible for architecting secure and efficient cloud network environments, optimizing performance, and ensuring seamless connectivity across hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructures. The ideal candidate is passionate about cloud technologies and possesses a deep understanding of networking principles within cloud contexts.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage secure and high-performance virtual private clouds (VPCs) and associated network resources.
• Configure and maintain cloud networking services, including load balancers, firewalls, and VPN gateways.
• Implement and manage network connectivity between on-premises data centers and cloud environments (hybrid cloud).
• Monitor cloud network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize for cost and efficiency.
• Develop and enforce network security policies and best practices within the cloud environment.
• Collaborate with DevOps and system engineering teams to automate network provisioning and management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years focused on cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Deep understanding of cloud networking concepts, architecture, and services.
• Proficiency with network security principles, firewalls, and VPN technologies in a cloud context.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in complex cloud environments.
